Interim Progress Update

Today your child will be bringing home INTERIM PROGRESS REPORTS.  These reports are meant to keep students/families informed as to academic progress, to enable students to set goals, as well as empower students to be able to make effective changes to enhance their grades.

Please review your child's performance with them.   Please sign and return the forms as soon as possible.  We will return these forms to you to keep.

If you have questions regarding your child's progress please ask your child what steps were discussed with them in a 1-2-1 Student/Teacher conference to help them to improve their performance.  Mrs. Kossey and I always welcome discussion.  Please let us know if you'd like to set up an appointment to meet!

Winter Carnival Gift Certificates

Thank you to all families for your generous support of the PAC's Winter Carnival Gift Baskets.  We ask that all contributions are in by Friday, February 17th.  Ticket sales for these fabulous baskets start next week. 

Battle of the Books

Grade 4 students will participate for spaces on the Battle of the Books Team on Wednesday, February 22 at 12:20 pm.  All parents are welcome to support our participants.  The 'battle' will take place in the Library!  Good luck to Justin, Jacob, Jonathan, and Matthew!

Swim Meet Opportunity

Time to start practising your swimming strokes!  Grade 4 students are welcome to join McGowan's Recreational Swim Relay Team.  Participants must be able to swim to the 'bulk head' and back independently without ANY personal flotation devices (life jacket/water wings, etc.).  The relay will take place on Wednesday, April 18 during school hours.  Registration for this event will take place during March.
