Halloween Celebration 

Thank you to our parent helpers who assisted us in having a wonderful day.  We appreciate your time!  Many thanks go out to our class parents:  Mrs. Gill, Mrs. Marsh, Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Sczebel, and Mrs. Nessman. We also appreciate the many families from Mrs. McCaughtery's class who helped make our day memorable!!  Thank you for choosing the spend the morning with us on such a busy day!

Thank you as well to the Gelling family, the Gill family, and the Sczebel family for their contributions to our day.  We appreciate the sweet treats and delicious eats!

Earth Rangers Presentation 

The Earth Rangers Presentation is a multi-media experience that takes students on an educational adventure to learn about some of the planet's most amazing creatures and their habitats.  Students will be introduced to 4 LIVE animal ambassadors and learn about protecting animals.  This presentation will take place this Thursday in our gym at 9:00 am.  All welcome!  For more information their website is: http://www.earthrangers.org/our-programs/. 

Friday, October 31
This Friday, our class will join Mrs. McCaughtery's grade 2 class participating in a variety of activities.  A hot dog lunch will be offered to students wishing to participate.  You may send in an alternate 'hot dog' or lunch if you prefer.  We request that students do not wear costumes to school.  Instead, we will have a pj day or alternately, students may wish to wear orange or black for our classroom festivities.

TRANQUILLE FARM

Thank you to all parent volunteers.  We enjoyed spending our day with you.  Thanks to all family members who helped navigate the corn maze, enjoyed the play area, hay ride, and in helping choose and transport pumpkins.  A huge thank you goes out to:  Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Nessman, Mrs. Morrison,  Mr & Mrs. Funnell, Taymin's Grandma, Johnny's Grandma, Mrs. Pereira, Mrs. Sczebel, and Mrs. Brown.  Thank you for choosing to spend your day with us!   We appreciate your time and support.

TRANQUILLE FARM

Thank you to all parent volunteers.  We have more parents that reuqested, however, if you wish to join us, please meet us at the school by 10:20 as we depart at 10:30.  This will enable me to form groups for when we arrive.  We should arrive at Tranquille Farm sometime around 11:15 am.  We will form group there and enter our tour of the farms.  Thank you to all of our parents.  We appreciate your time and support.

Art Starts - Blues Berries Presentation

What a great presentation.  We hope that everyone enjoyed this great group and the history of blues and rock and roll.
