Thank you to our
Marvelous Math Mothers, Mrs. Gallup, Mrs. Nessman, Mrs. Piva, and Mrs. Simpson for joining us for our last group before break. We appreciate your leadership in small group activities and lessons focusing on
place value and 3D geometry. We enjoyed being able to work in small groups using manipulatives to help learn and reinforce these skills. Thank you very much for choosing to spend part of your morning with us. Happy holidays and well wishes! We resume our groups on January 9th
Cultural Celebrations Unit
Dear parents, our class is starting a new unit in December focusing on
celebrations that occur during the month of December. Part of this unit
involves creating interactive lessons. We will "board" Canadian
Airlines and "travel" to various countries. Part of our celebrations
include crafts and snacks that are traditional to the countries we will
travel to.
Each child should bring the item that they signed up for by
Thursday, December 1st, if possible. Thank you for supporting our class. We hope our unit will be fun and and
memorable. Your help is greatly appreciated.
