Ground Hog Day!  

Will we have 6 more weeks of winter or an early Spring?

Homework
1.  Reading - read 20 minutes, summarize main ideas  
2.   Spelling - Unit 14 - Quiz:  Thursday

3.  Speaking & Listening - new topic on Ground Hog Day - Listen to your favourite radio or television show on Monday to hear 'ground breaking' news.  Report using our criteria sheet your observations.

Thank you to our math mothers, Mrs. Gill, Mrs. Nessman, and Mrs. Sczebel, for your time and leadership in our math groups.  Students worked on skills involving mental addition, fact families, adding facts to 20, as well as reviewing skills of place value and tally systems.

          - remember no jewelry, but  wear medic alerts 
          - remember no buttons, zippers or hoodies; active wear & t-shirts preferred

          - bring a lunch; bus leaves at 12:30, returning at 2:20 pm
