Happy Cinco de Mayo!

CINCO DE MAYO
Today students learned about the celebration of Cinco de Mayo.  Students learned about the history of this celebration as well as special cultural traditions (foods, dance, colours).  

PIONEER COOKING
Tomorrow students will participate in food preparation as part of our Pioneer Unit.  Students will learn about food mills, grinding grain, as well as participate in making bread, butter, and ice cream using pioneering methods.
