Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Benjamin, who celebrated his 7th birthday today! What a great way to start our year together. We hope that you had an excellent day today, Benjamin!
Assembly Performance
Today the Grade 2 class performed a song at our first assembly of the year! The song that the students performed included a Swahili word of encouragement that roughly means "Let's do it!". Thanks to the class for kick starting our year in such a positive way! Kudos goes out the Mrs. MacPherson who enabled this presentation with limited preparation time!
Terry Fox Fundraiser
Our school has set a goal to fund raise $1 200.00 towards cancer research through the Terry Fox run. This run will take place next Friday at 9:30 am. Any donation is greatly appreciated, with donations of $20 or more being eligible for a tax donation. Please make any cheques payable to the Terry Fox Foundation.
