EUREKA!

Today our class had the pleasure of working with EUREKA! science leaders.  Our focus continued to examine our animal studies, specifically focusing on insects and BEES. Students learned the special anatomy of bees as well as the function of bees in our world.   

ANIMAL RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS:

Dear families, you are invited to come to our class's OPEN HOUSE on 

Friday, June 10th from 1-2:15 pm.  

Students have been working very hard on research reports featuring a Canadian mammals.  Students have learned how to take notes without copying (plagiarizing), compose this non-fiction material into basic paragraphs, and have learned how to publish this information using Chrome Book Slide Presentation.   

These presentations enable the students to show case their fabulous work as well as practice authentic public speaking skills to small groups of familiar and friendly faces!  

We hope that you can make it, but understand if you're unable to at this very busy time of year!
